When you send a payment through Pay, the Recipient will get an email notifying them, if they are not already on Stir. The email will look something like this — including information, such as the amount and who sent the payment.
Pressing the Accept button will take a new Recipient through the Stir onboarding flow where they can create an account and, upon linking their bank account or debit card, have the funds transferred and they will receive a confirmation text message as well.
If the Recipient already has a Stir account with a bank account or debit card connected, they will only receive a text message notifying them of the Payment and the funds will automatically transfer into their account.
