The TLDR
- You can create Invoices on Stir by going to the Invoices tab.
- All you need is to add the email address of the Invoice recipient, a short description for the invoice, the amount, and due date. You can also add on additional features, if needed, such as an optional PO Number, attaching a W-9, or CC-ing additional email addresses. Once you’re set, click the
Send Invoice
button. - That’s it!
Example
Cora the Creator has a brand deal she’s super stoked about with BigBrand, who’s sponsored a new series of videos she just posted. Cora is ready to send the Client an Invoice and wants to split the revenue with Lucas, one of her team members who helped put everything together.
She heads to the Invoice tab in her Stir account, clicks Send Invoice
and fills out the corresponding information.
Cora remembers the brand has asked for a PO number and a W-9, so Cora uses the Add a PO Number
and Attach W-9
Add-Ons to do so.
To Split the Invoice with Lucas, she uses the Split this Invoice
add-on and adds him, and the percentage of the Split he should get. When the brand pays the Invoice, they’ll not only have all the instructions and information they need, the payment with automatically be split between Cora and Lucas!
