How do I sign up for Stir?
There are two (easy!) ways to sign up for Stir as a first-time user.
- Visit the Stir website and sign up. Follow the prompts until your account is complete.
- If you were invited to collaborate with someone else on a Split, or if they sent you a Payment, follow the instructions sent to your email from Stir.
Should I sign up as a business or individual?
Sign up as an individual if you are using Stir as a single person operating as a sole proprietorship. You can sign up as a business using Stir as a company registered as an LLC, C-Corp, S-Corp, Private Partnership, etc.
Why is using my Legal Name during sign up important?
It’s important to sign up using your Legal Name to be aligned with documents you may need to provide for KYC compliance and tax reasons too.
